Our StoryOur journey has been anything but ordinary. Through every step of my life, even as a youth, i strived for excellence through PERSEVERANCE, determination and trusting god. i was so lost and angry growing up due to being adopted - abandoned by both parents and i felt some kind of way. when asked questions; no thorough answers; just things swept under the rug. we were less fortunate and experienced poverty due to my grandmother not being able to provide for all of us. i would encourage my grandmother through every trial and test that one day….. i continued to be intelligent and kept honors on my profile and a high gpa - this is what i had working for me and i was grateful…. due to gratitude and never quitting and never stop believing today i am “the tameka denise” and i take pride in all of my work and projects…..
